This 50' wagon top box car
with double doors is painted iron sesqui-oxide with white Keystone herald
and white lettering. It was built in April 1937 by Pullman-Standard
and runs on Coil Elliptic trucks. Pennsylvania Railroad’s "round
roof" series of cars were used mainly for hauling automobiles and
were designed with a new 10 ft. internal height clearance. To clear
the low tunnel and stone bridge arches common in the east, the roofs
were curved/truncated at the sides. This 1000-car fleet was painted
in "Iron Sesqui-Oxide" the color PRR used prior to 1953
