These 33’ USRA panel side twin bay hoppers are painted box car red with white logo and lettering. They come with a coal load and run on Andrews trucks. These hoppers were built in October 1922 and rebuilt in February 1933. Principally used for rebuilding, the raised panel sides featured on this model were originally developed out of a need to provide parts to repair heavily used and rusted hoppers and increase capacity at the same time.
