| This three bay ACF Center Flow
covered hopper with elongated hatches is painted grey with white
lettering and logo. It was built in Canada by National Steel Car
of Hamilton, ON, Canada, in December 1996 and numbered into the
300-car series 799500-799799. It runs on Roller Bearing trucks.
Illinois Central is a partner of Canadian National; by lettering
the cars for an American railroad, it allowed CN to avoid Canadian
sales taxes. |
