This PS-2
3-bay covered hopper with high sides is painted brown with white
lettering and green and white logo. It
was built in August 1970 by Pullman-Standard and runs on Barber
Roller Bearing trucks. The 4427 cu ft. design was
Pullman-Standard’s earliest mass-produced 100-ton grain car,
however IMC used this hopper for transportation of
chemicals used in the production of commercial fertilizers,
primarily phosphate and potash.
