| This 36’ riveted
steel caboose with offset cupola is red with white lettering and runs on Bettendorf
Swing Motion trucks. Built in the 1940s, this caboose was shopped several times,
receiving roof upgrades, interior reconditioning, and new paint. It was eventually
relegated to local and transfer service before being retired in the 1970s. |
