Pepsi-Cola Road #P.C.E.X. 10007 36' Riveted Steel Side Caboose Part #MTL-100080 New Release Date: February 2000 Picture courtest of Micro-Trains® The sixth entry in the Micro-Trains® Special Edition Pepsi-Cola Series is this 36' riveted steel side caboose, built and painted at the Talent, Oregon Shop (TA). The body is painted John Deere Green, with main lettering in white. The Pepsi-Cola bottle cap logo is red, blue and white. The ends are striped in yellow. End ladder assemblies are molded in yellow. By 1902, the demand for Pepsi-Cola syrup had increased so dramatically it dawned on Caleb Bradham that his concoction was really something special. On December 24, 1902, he filed incorporation papers with the state of North Carolina; in these, he indicated his plans to expand into the surrounding States. |
