Built by Penn Central in March of 1969, this 60' excess height box car with single door and rivet sides is equipped with interior side rails and moveable bulkheads. #278655 is painted PC Green, with side and end lettering and the 'Worms in Love' logo in white. This series usually hauled household appliances of high cubic capacity and carries the white wrap-around-band on the ends. Other identifying features of a subclass 'A' car are the 20' travel cushion underframe and sill reinforcement.
