| This black 50’ steel side, 14 panel,
gondola with fixed ends, wears a large “SCL” logo and lettering
in yellow and runs on black Barber® Roller bearing trucks.
Built in November of 1971, this gondola, classified as G-5 has
a rated capacity of 154,000 lbs. It was part of a 200 car fleet
of which 199 were still in service in 1981. The Railroad was headquartered
in Jacksonville, Florida. |
