100 Ton 3-Bay open hopper with rib sides is painted UP synthetic
red with yellow lettering and runs on
Barber Roller Bearing trucks. It was built in 1962 by Bethlehem
Steel Corporation as part of series 17950-
18199. The AAR designation HT identifies the car as an open
top self-clearing car with fixed sides and ends
and bottom consisting of three or more divided hoppers with
doors hinged crosswise of car and dumping
between rails.
