| This 100-ton
3-bay open hopper with rib sides and coal load is probably the
most colorful car ever to set wheels on the Norfolk & Western.
Originally built in July 1975 as #138699 it was repainted and
renumbered to #1776 that same year to commemorate the United States
Bicentennial. It runs on Barber Roller Bearing trucks. |
