This heavyweight
depressed-center flat car with equipment load is painted black with
white logo and lettering. It was built from Lot 898-F at Beech Grove
in January 1961. This design requires 245,000-pound capacity three
axle, six wheel Buckeye heavy-duty trucks, ideally suited for use
on high-capacity flat cars, gondolas, wreck
cranes and locomotive tenders. Because of the low side sill of the
depressed center of this flat car, this series was prohibited from
third rail territories. |
