This heavyweight depressed-center flat car is brown with white lettering
and runs on 6-wheel commonwealth freight trucks. Rock Island only had
a single depressed center flat car, the RI 92000. Built in 1954 by RI
from General Steel Castings components, this car was used for the transport
of bulky and heavy industrial loads, such as electrical transformers
and construction equipment.
