This tank car was built in January 2001, and is the first Micro-Trains® release modeled after a prototype built in the 21st century. The car is leased by MacIntyre Fuels, Inc. and is operated by its builder, American Car & Foundry. It is a 56’ general service tank and is painted black with white markings and red accent in the company logo. The class A100 tanker has a 219,000 lb load limit and rolls on Barber® roller bearing trucks. The MacIntyre Fuel Company is based in Middlebury, Vermont and works between Albany, NY and Burlington, VT, New Hampshire and Boston.
