| This 43’ three-bay Ortner rapid discharge
hopper with sand load is painted Yellow with blue logo and blue
lettering. It was built in 1994 by the Ortner Freight Car Co. of
Cincinnati, OH and runs on Barber® Roller Bearing trucks. Blue
Circle was the leading producer and supplier of quality cements
to the Southeastern United States construction industry for many
years, serving customers in 32 states and two Canadian provinces.
In 2001, Lafarge S.A., the parent of Lafarge Corporation, acquired
Blue Circle Industries PLC and became the world’s largest cement
producer. |
