Painted box car red, this 40' standard box car with single door was built at Despatch Shops in January of 1951 and serviced in April of 1960 at the McKee Rocks, PA shops. The lettering on the sides and ends is white and the New York Central System logo is white on a black oval. Classified XM and from Lot 800-B, #20375 is from a 1000 car fleet. About one-half the cars remained on the roster until 1974. P&LE was a subsidiary of NYC.
