This 12-1 heavyweight
sleeper car is painted in the black and green passenger scheme introduced in 1959.
This scheme utilized the yellow ‘Canadian National’ on the top name
boards. The 12-1 referred to the 12 Berthing compartments and one larger Drawing
room for more upscale travel.
