This Pullman
Heavyweight 3-2 Observation Car is painted dark blue and gray
with gold stripes and lettering. The roof is black. It was built
by Pullman in 1930s according to Plan 3959D, the common “end-of-train”
car style for many passenger trains throughout the early part
of the 20th century. Pullman’s heavyweight construction was
modular, making it possible for floor plans to economically evolve
with the times. |
