This black tank car with all white stenciling was built by General American Transportation Company in East Chicago, IL on March 16, 1942. Carrying an 8,000 gallon capacity, the tank was tested July 11, 1962. The road had lines from Chicago, south to New Orleans, and west to San Francisco and Portland, Oregon. The SP merged with Union Pacific on September 11, 1996.
