This
78 Pullman heavyweight paired-window coach car is painted
Pullman Green with PULLMAN letters across the top
in metallic gold. It was built based on Pullman Plan B&O
#2882-B in the 1930s and runs on six-wheel passenger trucks.
This
car was one of the typical coach styles that served many of
the passenger car fleets as early as the 1930s. Not only could
they be found in both local and regional trains, but these cars
lasted long into the era of Lightweight Passenger Cars and many
went on to serve a variety roles including commuter and MOW
service.
