This
78 heavyweight paired-window coach car is painted Pullman
Green with black roof; it bears the metallic gold herald and
lettering, based on the Baltimore & Ohio Plan #2882-B, and
was built in the 1930s by Pullman Standard It ran on six-wheel
trucks from the 1930s through the 1960s. This car was one of
the typical coach-styles that served many of the passenger car
fleets. Not only could they be found in both local and regional
trains, they lasted long into the era of Lightweight Passenger
Cars
and many went on to serve a variety roles including commuter
and MOW service.
