This
78’ heavyweight paired-window coach is two-tone green with
white lettering and runs on 6-wheel passenger trucks. In the
early 1950s, Northern Pacific’s North Coast Limited was
painted in the classic two-tone green paint scheme developed
by Raymond Loewy. Built in 1915 by Pullman Standard, these cars
were rebuilt in 1935, equipped with air-conditioning, and continued
to serve NP through the mid-1960s.
