This
heavyweight diner car displays the standard orange and maroon
scheme common on Milwaukee Road
passenger equipment. Dubbed CM&StP Standard Yellow,
it was also referred to as Persian Orange. As
the color intensifi ed over the years the name of Harvest Orange
was setteled on after WWII. Maroon trim
with gold leaf lettering was used starting in the early 1900s,
being referred to as CM&StP Standard Red
for years before being named Royal Maroon.
