This
70’ baggage car is painted Pullman Green with metallic
gold lettering and runs on 6-wheel Commonwealth trucks. This
car was used by the Railway Express Agency on the headend of
Great Northern passenger trains to haul express packages. GN
400 was part of a 26 car series (GN 400-425) and was rebuilt
from a standard heavyweight passenger car.
