This
70 express baggage car is painted Pullman Green with Dulux
Gold lettering and runs on Commonwealth
6-wheel trucks. Standard Steel Car Company built the C-18 Class
Baggage Car for Erie Railroad, which is the
prototype for this all new body style. These cars began service
in 1928 as part of the 574-597 series. Featuring
offset 7 and 6 doors, these cars were used in both
general baggage service and express service on passenger
trains.
