This
70’ heavyweight horse car is painted in the blue and gray
scheme and ran on 6-wheel passenger trucks. It was designed
to transport valuable livestock between race tracks and training
facilities during the 20’s and 30’s. During WWII they
moved cavalry units, acted as early auto transport cars and
then as they transitioned with lightweight cars, became express
baggage cars.
