This 30’ box car with single door
is painted box car red and displays a white and black logo, has
white lettering and runs on brown Barber Coleman Archbar trucks.
Built in November of 1909 by the Colorado & Southern, this car
received the 30” black and white circle herald in 1928 and was last
serviced in August of 1935. From a group of 100 cars, 29 were sold
to Rio Grande Southern in 1938. After its sale to RGS, #8202 was
renumbered as #8709.
