This
50’ standard box car with 8’ plug door, no roofwalk
and short ladders is brown with white lettering and runs on
Barber Roller Bearing trucks. Originally of series 8001-8040,
this box car had its roofwalk removed and was renumbered into
the 60401-60440 series in the late 1970s. It features the classic
Feather River Route herald popular in the early 1900s.
