Though not stenciled on the side of the car, this 40' standard box car with single Youngstown door was built in 1945. It is blue with yellow lettering and carries the 'Speedway to America's playground' slogan in yellow. It is part of a fleet of 50 class XM cars which were originally painted box car red with white lettering. This car received its blue and yellow paint scheme when it was serviced in October 1956. The railroad did not change the car's road number when it was repainted. The FEC started out in 1885 as a narrow gauge railroad at Jacksonville, Florida.
