This 40’ standard box car with single Youngstown door is painted CP brown with white lettering and runs on black Bettendorf trucks. Built by Pullman Standard Car Mfg. Co. in Indiana during July of 1949 for CPR International of Mavine Division, CP 269669 is part of a fleet of 1200 cars, many of which continued in service well into the 1980s. It displays the 9” gothic “Canadian Pacific ” lettering that was common on box cars built during the 40s and 50’s.
