#93365 was part of a 500 car fleet that was built in August of 1947 by Pullman Standard from lot 5875. Painted box car red with white lettering, this 40' standard box car with single door was serviced and reweighed at the Kansas City Shop March 1953. The 'Corn Belt Route' began life in 1885 as the Chicago, St. Paul & Kansas City. Its name changed to Chicago Great Western in 1892. The road did reasonably well into the 60s until the merger with CNW on July 1, 1968. CNW was then purchased by Union Pacific on April 24, 1995.
