This 3966 cu ft, 100,000 lb capacity car is one of a 650-car fleet (lot #8604) built by Pullman Standard in March 1961. It is a 40' standard box car with single door and is painted box car red with white lettering. The tilted, rectangular logo has been Milwaukee Road’s traditional identifying mark for many decades, even though the wording within it has changed several times. This durable car series ran well into the 1980s.
