This 40' standard box car with single door is painted Glacier Green, with white lettering on sides and ends. The 72" Goat Monogram is red, white and black and the large 'standinig Rocky' appears to the right of the door with 'Cushion Ride' in large Empire Builder style lettering. Built in December of 1953, it was as part of the car buildinig boom prompted by 'Cold War' demands on the railroads to replace worn out equipment without delay.
