In January of 1974 at Acca, VA, this 40' standard box car without roofwalk was repainted in this modern blue with white lettering scheme. At the same time, its roofwalk was removed, ladders shortened, and the doors were painted aluminum. Built by Pullman Standard December of 1952, it was originally painted box car red with white lettering, represented by MTL product #20496. Today, the RF&P's tracks still serve as a link between the northern and southern properties of CSX Transportation's 18,800 route mile network.
