The Blue Goose, a 50' rib side box car with double doors and without roof walk was built August of 1978 by FMC in Portland, OR. Painted blue and lettered in white, #25105 is from a fleet of 100. Fifty of these cars were assigned to general service (class XM) while the remainder, including this car, were assigned for use in grain loading (class XP). The Blue Goose is located in Northern California, 35 miles north of Mount Shasta.
