NYC 78926 - The huge cigar band logo dominates the side of this 50' standard box car with plug door. Built by the Despatch Shops in February 1964 as part of a 200 car fleet. 140 cars remained in 1981 on the revenue roster (owned by Consolidated Rail Corp.) (#32250)

NYC 176252 - Originally built by DSI in May 1941 as part of a 1100 car fleet, this 50' standard box car with single door was serviced in April of 1959 (just eight years before merging into Penn Central, 1967) at the East Rochester Shops (ER). NYC began the changeover from box car red paint to Century green in late 1958. (#31190)

NYC 47056 - This 50' standard box car with double doors was built by the Despatch Shops in November of 1959 as part of a 100 car fleet and in 1981, 26 cars remained on the roster. Class XML cars were standard box cars that are loader equipped to secure certain types of lading. (#34200)
