Painted box green and lettered in medium yellow with red shadow, this 40' double-sheathed wood box car, with single door and vertical brake wheel was built in December of 1908 and serviced in September of 1934. The Menasha Wooden Ware Company was founded in 1849 with offices located in Neenah, WI. Starting with the transportation of wooden pails, tubs, barrels and fiber boxes the company grew to become a corporation involved with a variety of forest products.
