Painted white and lettered in black, this 40' double-sheathed wood box car with single door was built in February 1924 and serviced December 8, 1933 at the shops in Potlatch, Idaho. These cars transported Pres-to-logs, a convenience fuel made from compressed sawdust, the by-product of lumber mills. Pres-to-logs are eight times denser than real wood and burn longer. The image to the right of the door shows a tree log being fed into a machine and a magician waving his wand as Pres-to-logs shoot into the fire.
