This
48’ rib side container is white with aluminum ribs and red ‘speed
lettering’. A number of 48’
domestic containers found their way onto the Southern Pacific
intermodal roster in the late 1980s
and early 1990s. With a door height of 102 inches, these containers
could be used for virtually any
general merchandise service.
