This 34’ wood sheathed caboose with straight sided cupola has bright red ends on the body and cupola with box car red sides and roof. Built in July of 1926 by CP Angus shops, #435053 was among 1135 wood cabooses which were listed in 1956 and still at work in 1965. When serviced, it received the 1959 Script lettering. Until recent years each freight conductor was assigned his own caboose. Now, many of the CP cabooses are preserved in museums across Canada.
