#75524 was built for the Union Refrigerator Transit Company by General American, July of 1950, in Chicago. When serviced in July 1966, it received this American Beef Packers paint scheme and was leased to the company. This class RSM 40’ steel side ice reefer with Preco Fan has black roof and ends, and the light blue sides carry the company’s red, blue and white shield style logo. Class RSM refrigerator cars are equipped with ice bunkers for chunk ice, and meat rails. The Union Refrigerator Transit Lines is a subsidiary of General American Transportation Corp.
