Painted white with green striping, this trailer wears the Burlington Northern’s ‘Montana’ scheme, one of thirteen different pictorials which were initiated in 1988. The 4-color mural depicts the progression of time with the covered wagon blazing a trail into the future as the modern BN Diesel pushes its way out of the past. This project has won Burlington Northern two national advertising awards and recognition from each of the individual cities. BN merged with Santa Fe on December 31, 1996, becoming BNSF. This is the 6th city view trailer completed for the Micro-Trains® series.
