This 51' 3-3/4" rivet side mechanical reefer is decorated for the Klondike® Bar in the familiar colors of that treat—alumi-num and blue. The 3,023 cu ft, 120,000 lb capacity car runs on roller bearing trucks. Samuel Isaly, a descendent of a well-known Swiss dairy farm family, began producing what would eventually become America’s #1 selling ice cream novelty—the Klondike® Bar—in Pittsburgh, PA in 1929.
