This 51' 3-3/4" rivet side mechanical reefer is decorated for the Klondike® White Mint Bar in the familiar colors of that treat—aluminum, blue and green. The 3,023 cu ft, 120,000 lb capacity car runs on roller bearing trucks. Samuel Isaly, a descendent of a well-known Swiss dairy farm family, began producing what would eventually become America’s #1 selling ice cream novelty—the Klondike® Bar—in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1929.
