This 40' standard box car with plug door and without roofwalk is one of 15 that were rebuilt for Canadian Pacific August of 1963. Painted aluminum with the dimensional data stenciled on sides, ends and doors in black, these class RPL cars were decorated with the red script lettering, introduced in the early 60s. Many of these insulated cars could be seen rolling behind the CP Mandarin Orange Express lead car (see product #MTL74020).
