Decorated in this red, white, blue, and yellow scheme, this car is one of ten 50’ standard box cars with double plug doors without roofwalk painted by Canadian Forest Products Limited (CANFOR) of Vancouver, BC in celebration of our country's 200th birthday. The cars were lead by two BN locomotives at the Peace Arch on the Canadian/United States border. Built in 1968, it was re-weighed November of 1974 and painted in December of 1975. Before it received this Bicentennial paint job, #476 advertised that it carried red cedar shingles and shakes for CANFOR.
