	2 Window Cupola Caboose

This box car red caboose with two window cupola has white “Rio Grande” speed, white “Denver & Rio Grande Western” lettering and runs on brown Barber® Coleman Arch bar trucks. Built in the early 1900s by the Denver & Rio Grande railroad, this caboose was in was until the road shut down freight operations. There were only six road numbers from 0584-0589. Originally, all six had only one window in the side of the cupola, but in 1943, three of them had the cupola rebuilt to two side windows. These were 0584, 0587, and 0589. The others all kept the single window.
