When Smokey assembled his maintenance of way train, he chose this Electro-Motive Division GP20 to pull it. It is modeled by Life-Like® and decorated by Micro-Trains® in this Forest Service green paint scheme. It is also the first Micro-Trains® decorated N scale locomotive to be released individually. F.P. X658 MW is a 4-axle, 2000 horsepower general purpose loco. EMD produced about 260 of these workhorses for various railroads. Smokey’s version exists only as a model. |
