This summer will mark the beginning of our newest series
featuring 7 prototypical Baby Ruth® freight cars from the
1920’s and early 30’s. This series will consist of six colorful
billboard reefers and one tank car, all displaying elaborate
ads for Baby Ruth® which was owned then by Curtiss Candy
Company. Baby Ruth® was acquired by Nabisco® in 1981
and Nabisco® sold the Curtiss brands to Nestlé® in 1990.
N scale reefers will be released in 36’ or 40’ lengths with
proper fi shbelly or truss-rod underframes according to the
original reefer.
