| Built in 1977 by FMC for Hartford
& Slocomb Railroad, these 50’ boxcars with Barber Roller
Bearing trucks were later operated by the New Orleans Public Belt.
Eventually, Union Pacific received the cars and painted them in
their boxcar red scheme, with ex-Missouri-Kansas-Texas “BKTY”
reporting mark and GATX lettering. |
