This
40’ box car with Andrews Trucks was built in 1925 and converted for
zinc loading in the early 1950s, toward the end of its revenue life.
Founded in 1859, Santa Fe was one of the largest railroads in North
America up until 1996, when it merged with Burlington Northern to form
BNSF.
